Caution....lots of whining about to be heard!

My a/c has a broken part. A box arrived that said "condenser" on it. I spent a week without a/c. Yesterday it was 93*. Yesterday Neil installed the part. Yesterday we realized the part was faulty. Today a new part is on its way. Today it will be 94*. In an effort to beat the heat we went with friends to the splash park on Tuesday. I got 6 kids under age 6 in sunscreen (I was watching a few friends and and some neighbor kids snuck in too) I forgot to sunscreen myself. My poor back is a lobster, no a crab, since I am so crabby about it. I was suppose to run with my kids this morning...I knew it would never happen. My red sports bra was never going to get along with my red back, cause you know, it's crabby. On a much happier note...I think Addie is on her way to being potty trained....she has told me at the store she needs to potty and last night she went into the bathroom and went by herself. We found her on her way out...she even remembered to wash her hands!

I feel for you!

Last year after we moved into our home I turned on the air for the first time and could have sworn it was getting hotter in the house. But I was feeling a little crazy then with new home, new baby, three little ones etc. So I gave it awhile and when I finally got around it checking the thermostat it was indeed getting hotter! Something was wrong with our new geothermal system and it was blowing heat instead of air - just wonderful! After a few days the contractor got it fixed, but those were some long hot days.

OH BABY! I feel so sorry for you. I remember when our AC went out in our house and Neil tried to help us out because Mike was gone. It's so miserable and you feel like you are going to die! And the heat makes everyone crabby. I spent an hour outside (in the shade) on saturday and came home super cranky (of course the sleep deprivation doesn't help either) Good Luck! Congrats to Addie! Cord isn't even remotely interested.

Yes good job Addie. Wow not having AC in St. George is like one of the worst things ever. Hey next time come over to my house and cool off. I have otter pops :)

Hey, I found your blog and wanted to say thank you so much for coming on Saturday to the party. you are always so nice and supportive. Your post almost made me feel hot- how horrible without a/c. :( The splash park sounds like a great remedy to beat the heat (minus the sunburn).

A hot day outside? What would that be like? We're freezing over here! Sorry about the burn, those are awful.

OH, I am soooooo sorry. Miserable! I keep thinking about sending you over a list of my running play list. Maybe I just might actually do it one of these days! Hey, congrats on the potty training!
